Aikyashree Scholarship has been started by the Government of West Bengal. West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation is the source behind this initiative. The main objective of starting this scheme was to support minority community students financially so that they can pursue higher studies. The meritorious students would be assisted in achieving their educational goals at both school and college levels under this scholar. |West Bengal Pre Matric Scholarship for ST and SC
|Students must belong to the SC/ ST.
Applicants should be studying in classes 9 and 10.
The annual income of the family should not be more than INR 2,00,000.
|West Bengal Post Matric Scholarship for SC, ST and OBC
|Students must belong to SC/ ST/ OBC.
Students must be studying in class 11, 12, undergraduate or postgraduate level.
The annual income of the family of the SC and ST must not be more than INR 2,00,000- INR 2,50,000. While for OBC students, the income should not be more thanINR 1,00,000.
|Hindi Scholarship Scheme
|Applicants need to belong to a non-Hindi-speaking state.
Students must have passed 10th, 12th, graduation or post-graduation besides any other equivalent degree course.
Applicants must have passed with 60% marks in Hindi.
|Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship
|Students who are studying at a higher secondary level and diploma can apply for this scholarship. They should have scored 75% marks in class 10.
Students at the undergraduate level should have scored 75% marks and those at the postgraduate level must have scored 53% marks.
The annual income should not be more than INR 2,50,000 for the applicants.
|Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship
|Only female candidates can apply for this.
Applicants should have passed Class 12 from any board. They should be pursuing Engineering, Medicine or any Basic Science course from a recognized institute in West Bengal.
